CONGRATULATIONS, MACCS!

Media Arts Collaborative Charter School has made a change for blood cancer patients through the Student Series program! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society recently received the generous amount of $1,514.94 from MACCS. The L&L Society is sincerely grateful for the outstanding effort that MACCS students put forth in helping others in the Albuquerque community.

The money MACCS collected will fund important cancer research and local patient services–both vital to the fight against blood cancers. Now more than ever, patients are relying on support to cover the cost of care. In the past year, the number of patients assisted through the patient financial aid grants has doubled! Thanks to MACCS, the L&L Society can continue to meet the demand for this and other patient services. MACCS students are truly a key part of the patient support system. MACCS’ generosity does make a difference!

A special congrats to Mr. Creighton Edington’s and Ms. Anne Strader’s advisory classes who raised the most money and will receive an Olive Garden Party. Way2Go!
