The first robotics competition MACCS students will be competing in this year is the BEST Robotics (Boosting Engineering Science and Technology) tournament held at NMSU in Las Cruces in November. This is one of the most difficult robotics competitions around!

Students design and build their robots from scratch, publish an engineering notebook, and try to “sell” their robot to the judges (as a mock business that includes a “product pitch” presentation, a website, company logo, and other marketing tools). Click HERE to see this year’s game…

Students are still in the “planning” stages of getting teams up and running. The club is meeting from 3:30-6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Mr. Edington’s classroom. Hope to see you there!
