What is Media LITERACY?

Students, teachers & staff spent the week of November 5-9 exploring the Five Core Concepts of Media Literacy, the foundation of our Mission to offer secondary students a comprehensive, project-based, cross curricular education centered in the Media Arts. At MACCS, students graduate prepared for positions in the media industries and for the rigors of post-secondary education.

Students created posters (BELOW) and videos on social justice issues to demonstrate the power of the Media. Thanks to Anne Strader for organizing the event and to her team:  Isaac AlaridPease, Courtney Angermeier, Allie Coleman, Anthony Conforti and Tom Richardson.
